SILA- SAMADHI-VIPASSANA-PANYA
(PRECEPTS-CONCENTRATION-INSIGHT DEVELOPMENT-WISDOM)
These four factors cannot be separated as Sila is the main root of purity of all intentions, which are Citta, Vaca, Kaya and Vedana (Mind, Speech, Body and Feeling). If the intention is good, the foundation of the Sila will be good. On the other hand, if the intention is bad, the foundation of the Sila will be unstable and shaken. Similarly, if there is no Sati (awareness) or not Samadhi (concentration) the Sila (Precepts) will be unstable also. When there is no Sila, temptations will take place and we will be unstable also. When there is no Sila, temptations will take place and we will be tempted to commit bad Karma. This is why I said ‘Sila – Samadhi – Vipassana and Panna' cannot be separated. Therefore, Kaya, Vaca, Citta and Vedana is the formation of the Five Dharma Precepts whereas Samadhi is the foundation of the Citta. Once the foundation is strong, it will not be easily affected by desires which are fruition's of the 12 Ayatana ( Inside and Outside Sense Sphere) and these are Cakkhu, Sota, Ghana, Jivha, Kaya, Mano – Eye, Ear, Nose, Tongue, Body, Mind) and Rupa, Rasa, Gangha, Sadda and Phothabba ( Visible Object, Taste, Odour, Sound and Tangible Object). Vipassana is one of the training methods to refrain from committing bad Karma, to reduce or eliminate Kilesa which are caused by endless desires. The more we can reduce or eliminate our desires, the more happiness we will achieve until we attain the level of Borommasukkha – Nibbana (highest state of happiness) which all of us have been looking for.
SANKHARA AND CITTA
( BODY AND MIND – ACCORDING ITS TRUE CONDITIONS)
A human body has 32 true conditions. When these 32 conditions are combined, it is called Sankhara – body formation. If these 32 conditioned are separated from one another, t will be no longer classified as Sankhara ( body formation). These are:-
1. Kesa Hair in the head
2. Loma Hair on the body
3. Nakha Nails
4. Danca Teeth
5. Taco Skim
6. Mansanca Flesh

‘Evamayo Mekayo' – so this our body from head to toe; ‘Tacapariyanto' the body is wrapped in skin; ‘Bulona Nappakalat Sa – Asucino' every single part in our body is unclean.
These parts when combined with the Five Dhatu – 1. Pathavi Dhatu 2. Apo Dhatu 3. Vayo Dhatu 4. Akasa Dhatu 5. Vinyana Dhatu ( Five elements – Earth, Water, Wind, Fire, Air and Consciousness elements) is, what we called, a living human being according to its true conditions, or it is Dharma Rupa and Dharma Nama?.
This investigation is carried out according to the ‘Panca Khandho – Five Groups of Existence). The Five Groups of Existence can be abbreviated into Rupa and Nama. Rupa Khandho is Rupa, the rest of the 4 Khandho is Nama – Rupa. On the other hand, it could be classified as the 4 Paramattha Dharma: Vinyana Khandho is Citta, Vedhana Khandho, Sanya Khandho and Sankhara Khandho are Cetaika Rupa (corporality) is all the factors forming to be the Rupa Dharma.
Sankhara and all its behaviors including its properties and energy are Vedana (feelings or sensation) describing the conditioned of Sukha Vedhana, Dukkha Vedhana, Upekha Vedana (being happy or sad or indifferent) for particular object including characters.
Vinyana (consciousness) is the state of knowing clearly the 5 Indhyra which include Cakkusu Vinyana, Sota Vinyana, Ghana Vinyana, Jivha Vinyana, Kaya Vinyana and Mano Vinyana ( Eye consciousness, Ear consciousness, Nose consciousness, Tongue consciousness, Body consciousness and Mind consciousness).
These are the factors forming our Sankhara, When we separate each factor from the whole body one by one, we will see that there is no body or no self. It is not me. It is not you either. It is an ‘Emptiness'. It is ‘Anatta' or Dharma Anatta. Sankhara ( formation) has three main properties:-
The Sankhara is conditioned by the Sanya and Vedana. Intention, volition or determination condition in the Citta to be good, bad or equanimity. It is also the source of karma. Properties such as Saddha (Faith, Confidence), Sati (Awareness), Metta ( Loving Kindness), Karuna (Compassion), Mudhita(Sympathy), Upekkha ( Equanimity), Panna (Wisdom), Moha (Delusion), Lobha (Greed), Mana Ditthi (Errorneous Opinion), Macchariya (Selfishness), Iccha (Envy) are ingredients of volition and karma.
Lord Buddha taught us to investigate in detail the factors forming a being ‘Kaya Sankhara' so that to avoid being misled by an delusion.
